Freshman Scholarships

The Student Relations Committee is seeking academically talented high school graduating seniors from the Dallas Metroplex to apply for our Freshman Scholarships, who plan to attend Southern University (Baton Rouge campus) during the 2010-2011 academic school year.

High School Students must submit the Freshman Scholarship Application?by Friday, May 28, 2010 and a current high school transcript with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above; three recommendations from teachers or counselors; proof of involvement in two high school organizations over the last 3 years; proof of community/public service involvement; and the required essay.

Upper-Classman Scholarships

The Student Relations Committee is currently seeking Southern University college students from the Dallas Metroplex to apply for our Upper-Classman Scholarships, who will have completed the required hours to be classified as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior by the 2010 Fall semester at Southern University (Baton Rouge campus)

College Students must submit the Upper-Classman Scholarship Application?by Friday, May 28, 2010 and a current college transcript with a cumulative GPA of? 3.0 or above; one letter of recommendation from a professor, advisor or employer; and the required essay.
